According to the Akim′s order of the region and within the framework of implementation of the concept "Fourseasons" in the resort Burabay, on January 12 this year the Department of Tourism for the Akmola Region jointly with the Akimat of Burabay district and the Aakmolinsk branch of Kazakhstan-Kokshetau (Kokshe) RTRK JS has conducted a large-scale "telemarathon" presenting unique "Winter′s Tale" project of mass rest of tourists in "Ice Towns" of Burabay resort area, including the Burabay settlement on "Kazakhstan Lapland", at RixosBorovoe hotel, around Ainakol hotel, etc to promote winter recreation activities.

    On December 9-10 this year the First International Tournament of hunters with hunting birds "Kansonar - 2017" devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and memory of celebrated berkutchy-hunter of these places Massip Batyrkhanuly was held for the first time at a very beautiful place of Burabay district, near Tekekol Lake.

    To promote the Burabay resort in the off-season, to implement the large-scale FourSeasons project and to create favorable environment for business subjects to promote the services, on October 28 a grandiose OctoberfestBurabay festival was held on the covered platform of Aynakol hotel of Burabaysky district of the Akmola region.
