Within the framework of preparation of a reporting meeting of the akim of the Akmolinsk region Sergey Kulagin for 2016, his working trips to regions to meet with district administration and to hear the reports of the akims of districts on the realization of his instructions and the achieved results in social and economic development of districts was held.
The Head of the Department of Tourism for the Akmolinsk Region - Mr. Batyrkhanov took part in the preparation and holding the reporting meetings in Sandyktau and Zerenda districts and familiarized with the state and the prospects of tourist industry subjects development in details.
Within the framework of the working trip the Akim of the region Mr. Kulagin got acquainted with the implementation of one of the major projects of the region - the "Eliktipark" alpine skiing complex in details. The director of the complex Ms. Bektemirova showed and commented to the Head of the Region on the hotel complex with 100 beds and a restaurant with 200 seats, a rent point with new stock and equipment. The main section of the complex are ski slopes of various category stretching for over 4000 meters and a ropeway.
The guests were pleasantly surprised by an operating "baby lift" for children to go down the slopes stretching up to 200 meters. The Head of the Region having got acquainted with the prospects of the alpine skiing complex highly appreciated the course of the implementation and promised all kind of support to its accelerated promotion
